Bishop John, Bishop of Selby said…..
You will be pleased to hear that the Reverend Maxine Waller has accepted the offer to become House for Duty Assistant Minister at Escrick with Stillingfleet and Naburn and also be licensed to the Benefice of Derwent Ings.
Maxine says of her appointment “When Bishop John contacted me to offer the position of Assistant Minister my heart warmed. I am really excited to be joining these benefices and working with the priest in charge, Revd Jackie. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone as we journey together making God’s love visible through Living Christ’s Story. I am sure that it will be an enriching experience for each and every one of us. I hope to develop new opportunities for mission through the arts and dance, have a passion to support and care for those on the margins and hope to encourage those beyond the Church to find ways into faith and a fellowship with Jesus”.
