Practical Information

The village of Escrick is about half way between York and Selby on the main A19 road. The Church is on the right-hand side of the road when travelling from York. The Post code is YO19 6EX.

Parking

There is a Church car park behind the Church. It is accessed from the lane running along the south side of the Church wall which runs between the Church and Fat Abbot. All cars are parked at owners own risk.

A bike rack is available at the back of the Church.

Public Transport

The Arriva Bus – 415/416 – travels between York and Selby along the A19.  There is a request bus stop 300 yards from Escrick Church.  You can view a timetable here

Access

There is ramped access to the main door of the building and flat access in to the main areas of the Church and Vestry.  There are two steps in to the Baptistery and one step in to the  Chancel, but handrails are available.

Facilities

Church has a disabled access toilet and baby changing facilities.  It also has a Servery where refreshments can be prepared for events.  Free Wifi is available.

When are we open?

Church is now open daily between approximately 8 am and 5 pm. The Churchyard is open at all times.
