This photo was taken in 1993 before planning permission had been granted for the provision of the Carrs Meadow development. Behind the hedges at the rear of the field was the Wood Yard to the Estate
When permission was granted Halfpenny Beck was culveted and the pond incorporated into the plans. The stone bridge was removed in Carr Lane to allow better access and tanks were buried in the field to take the excess flood and rain water run off.
